Polarising filter examples.

The difference a circular polariser makes, these three shots were taken of a rock pool just seconds apart in exactly the same spot with exactly the same camera settings, all I did was to rotate the polariser.

Aren't the filters awesome? When used in direct sun... your colors are going to POP.... then you'll really LOVE it! When I get a new lense, I always buy a UV filter simply to keep my lense protected. If it's a lense I plan to use mostly outdoors I invest in a GOOD CP filter... some of the cheaper ones tend to cause vignetting. Wait until you experience GND's!!!!
