Someone call the Doctor

There isn't a lot that will get me out of bed voluntarily early on a Sunday morning but the Doctor Who 50th anniversary was one of them, and so worth it. Seamus and I (it always helps to have a fellow whovian  in the house who is willing to get up early with you) snuggled up on the couch in our jammies and then marked the occasion by eating TARDIS blue pancakes (whole meal topped with yoghurt, strawberries and blueberries)

This book from this blogger http://foxslane.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/happy-vantastic-day.htmland and feeling very inspired to recreate our little old van. So much to do and so little time. The hardest part is going to be knowing where to start. I have a week down by the coast at Robe in my head, sitting  on a deck chair, soaking up the sun, taking beach photos and generally enjoying all that Robe has to offer, (including lots of awesome coffee from here https://www.facebook.com/mahaliacoffee ) We may even take our new bikes down and have leisurely rides around the town. I used to love caravan  holidays when I was a kid. I think it's so much friendlier than motels.

Happy All Hallows Eve

While Halloween is still not a huge thing here in Australia, there are a few kids each year that come around trick or treating. This year I made up a little bundle of goodies for them using these cute little cupcake holder from our local cheapo store. I was looking for bags but when I spotted these I just knew they were what I wanted, the footwear on them looks like witches boots to me. Staple on a few die cut spookies, fill with some sugary treats and Bob's your uncle. I made plenty so guess who gets the left overs???
The template is one of Kerri Bradford's http://kerribradford.com/store/index.php/photo-templates.html
and the digital boo paper is a freebie from here http://www.sherykdesigns.com/shop/all-products/free-halloween-digital-papers/prod_114.html I just altered the purple a little using the eyedropper and colours from the twix wrapper.
